6月14日は世界献血者デーだそうです。
歴史上、最初に血液型を発見したラントシュタイナー博士の誕生日が6月14日なのでこの日が世界献血者デーになりました。
チラシに印刷されているヒゲのおじさんがラントシュタイナー博士です。
血液型はA型、B型、O型、AB型の4つがあります。
ラントシュタイナー博士は1900年にA型、B型、O型の血液型を発見しました。
血液型は124年前に発見された概念ということになりますね。
異なる血液型の血液を輸血した場合、血液が固まり輸血を受けた患者が死亡する可能性があります。
ラントシュタイナー博士が血液型の概念を発見したことで輸血による患者の死亡件数が大きく減少しました。
この偉大な業績によりラントシュタイナー博士は1930年にノーベル賞を受賞しています。
血液型の概念を発見した人がラントシュタイナー博士であることや血液型が発見されてから124年経過していることも全く知りませんでした。
しかしラントシュタイナー博士は日本人が血液型占いをするようになるとは思ってもみなかったでしょうね。
血液型占いは広まったのは1970年代です。
もちろん日本だけの話です。
血液型による性格の診断は1970年代以前から日本で研究されていましたが、結局、血液型と性格は関係がないことが判明しました。
まあ血液型占いに興味がある人は本人の血液型を調べます。
血液占いに根拠はありません。
占い自体に根拠はありませんが血液型は4種類しかないです。
血液型占いは他の占いと比べても大雑把で占うことが出来る内容は限定されます。
ただ血液型占いに興味を持つ人が増えれば献血をする人も増えるかもしれません。
輸血や献血を行う際には事前に検査して血液型を確認しますので本人が血液型を知らなくても問題はありません。
ただ200人に1人しかいないと言われるRhマイナス型の血液を検査するのは時間がかかるそうです。
一刻を争う場合であれば血液型が事前に判明していると助かる可能性が上がるかもしれません。
血液型は献血の際に調べることができます。
興味がある人は献血してみるのもいいかもしれないですね。
